This Fall, 2020 – The virtual 29th Annual Nashville AIDS Walk will be held this Fall right in your own home. Join us on livestream to commemorate Nashville CARES’ 35-year journey acknowledging those we have lost and those who are still fighting. Nashville CARES is Middle Tennessee’s only comprehensive program working aggressively to end the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
August 22, 2020 – This year, NASHVILLE CARES will be celebrating its 35th Anniversary. 35 years of love, loss, progress, and hope in ending the HIV epidemic. This virtual event will include an inspirational program detailing the journey of Nashville CARES from the past, to the present, and onward – toward a bright future where HIV diagnoses are rare. Guests will enjoy an elegant dinner, unique entertainment, and can participate in both silent and live auctions.
Tuesday, April 21, 2020 [cancelled due to COVID-19] – Local restaurants participated by donating a percentage of sales from the day to Nashville CARES. This city-wide event involved more than 20,000 diners, more than 100 volunteers and 58 Nashville area restaurants. Dining Out For Life 2020 was cancelled due to COVID-19.
December 5, 2019 – The Red Ribbon Breakfast was held at the Cal Turner Family Center for Student Education at Meharry Medical College. More than 200 people attended the ticketed event that included elected officials, members of the private and public healthcare sectors, members of the faith community as well as local community leaders.
