This year, 49 participating restaurants donated a percentage of their proceeds from breakfast, lunch and/or dinner to Nashville CARES, helping us raise more than $60,000 toward ending the HIV epidemic in Middle Tennessee.
Today more than 16,000 Tennesseans are living with HIV, of that 16,000 it is estimated that 50 percent of people do not know their status. Nashville CARES serves more than 50,000 Middle Tennesseans living with or at risk of HIV/AIDS including HIV prevention education to more than 29,000 youth and adults, more than 10,000 FREE confidential HIV tests and essential support services to 3,400 men, women and children living with the disease.
