Getting Started

The first step in volunteering at Nashville CARES is to set up an appointment to meet with the Volunteer Manager at Nashville CARES and fill out an application. Contact Amy Walter, Volunteer Manager at AWalter@NashvilleCARES.org or phone Amy at 615-259-4866 x239 to make your appointment. Please bring the names and addresses of two personal references to the meeting. Amy will discuss your interests, time constraints, and available volunteer opportunities with you one-on-one.

 

Nashville CARES also requires volunteers to attend a Volunteer Orientation Training. We offer these sessions Saturday mornings or Wednesday evenings depending on the season, and may schedule additional sessions as needed.
