Getting Started

The first step in volunteering at CARES is to set up an appointment to meet with the Director of Volunteers and fill out an application. (615-259-4866, ex. 252 or mailto:khaygood@nashvillecares.org Please bring the names and addresses of two personal references to this meeting. Exploring the opportunities at CARES and discussing your interests and time constraints is the major focus of this meeting.

CARES requires volunteers to attend a Volunteer Orientation/Training. Orientation is offered on a bi-monthly basis, either on a Tuesday evening or a Saturday morning depending on the season. You can choose which best suits your needs. (Special orientations may be scheduled for groups as needed.)
