The Centers for Disease Control estimates approximately 25% of people living with HIV in the US are not aware of their current infection. CARES reaches out to those most at risk to ensure all have access to free, confidential HIV testing services through private contacts with CARES certified educators, at community health centers, at local emergency departments with rapid screening, at special testing events and by individual appointment: (see individual programs to make an appointment with whom you're most comfortable)
