The Centers for Disease Control estimates approximately 25% of people living with HIV in the U.S. are not aware of their infection. CARES reaches out to those most at risk to ensure all have access to free, confidential HIV testing services. Testing takes place through private contacts with CARES certified educators, at community health centers, at local emergency departments with rapid screening, at special testing events and by individual appointment. It’s better to know!
