HIV prevention education and HIV/AIDS direct services are provided to individuals and families who live in the seventeen counties of northern Middle Tennessee, including the Nashville metropolitan statistical area (MSA): Cannon, Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Houston, Humphreys, Macon, Montgomery, Robertson, Rutherford, Smith, Stewart, Sumner, Trousdale, Williamson, and Wilson counties. Interested individuals may contact the agency directly.
Insurance and dental assistance are provided to people with HIV/AIDS in a larger region. Dental assistance is available to qualifying residents of the 39 counties of Middle Tennessee and Upper Cumberland. (See “Middle” region on the map below.) Insurance and meical/prescription co-pay assistance is avaialble to qualifying who live anywhere in the state. Individuals who wish to receive these services must enroll through “medical care managers” who work at the medical AIDS Centers of Excellence throughout the regions.
